Soon after we returned to our room with Madelyn, she fed and was bathed by Dad and the nurse. Maddie seemed to love her first bath and Dad promises that that will be his job at home as well.

It was such a blessing in the hospital to have both of our families around to help celebrate as well as many friends stop and meet the newest addition to our family.Here's Grandpa G and CC with their first little grand-daughter;
Here are Papa and Mimi with their 3rd grand-daughter (after having three boys, they sure are enjoying all the girls in the family now!!)
Of course it was so difficult to pick out just a few snapshots of Maddie for the blog...so here are just a couple more of my favorites!! And of course, we'll update soon.
And lastly...here are the proud parents about to bring Madelyn home from the hospital!! Yay!

She's beautiful! What a little darling-one picture is cuter than the next! I think I see a little of both her mommy and daddy in her. Please don't stop posting pictures. It's wonderful to be able to "see" her from 3000 miles away. Miss you all!

Congratulations! I kept checking back for pictures, as I couldn't wait to see Madelyn. She's so precious, and you both look so happy and proud! We are looking forward to meeting Maddie (hopefully sometime soon) and watching her grow! We love you!
